How close is this to the real thing?
Candidates report two line-ups in 2026: a research study with follow-up cases plus a microbe-sorting game (65 minutes), sometimes followed by a 20-minute judgement game (85 minutes). Field Study, Microbial Migration and Sustainable Future Lab follow those formats, and the full test runs them back to back with every score hidden until the end, as in the real sitting. Habitat Builder follows a format reportedly retired in 2025, and Maritime Operations is general case practice. The scenarios are our own and the real scoring is unpublished, so read your score as practice feedback, not a prediction. CasesTrain is independent and not linked to any firm or test vendor.
How many times can I play?
As often as you like for 30 days. There are 21 scenarios across the five exercises, and each new run starts on one you haven't played yet. After that you get repeats, and the process score still shows whether your method is getting cleaner.
Does the real test track my mouse?
Nobody outside the test maker knows. The patents behind this kind of test list mouse movement among the things that can be recorded, and forums repeat it, but no one has shown it is scored, and the official FAQ says a mouse is optional. What the test does record is your clicks, your choices and when you make them. That is what our process score uses: which data you open, the order you work in, how often you change a settled answer and how you use the clock. It scores the same with a mouse, a trackpad or a finger.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It runs in a phone browser and you can tap instead of drag. The real test only runs on a computer (PC or Mac, no phone or tablet), so do your last few runs on the one you will use.
Where do my results go?
They stay in your browser. At the end of a run you can choose to share that run's scores anonymously to help check the scoring; nothing is sent unless you press that button.
Can I get a refund?
